The Report on 'Municipal Waste Management (MWM) Survey 2022' under the ECDS Project is based on the City Corporation and Paurashava. It is hoped that the report will provide opportunities for more in-depth research and monitoring of the municipal waste management at the City Corporations and Paurashavas. This survey has detailed discussion to know and understand the composition, mode and frequency, treatment, disposal, recycling and the per capita generation of waste in Bangladesh. I believe that the findings of the report will stir up strong interest regarding municipal waste management issues among policymakers, researchers, academics, students and other stakeholders.
